Put a book in a kid's hands
We gladly accept brand-new and gently-used children's board books, picture books, and early chapter books at our regional drop spots. Every volume is inspected, cleaned, and sorted by volunteers before heading to a neighborhood book box or home bookshelf.
Please ensure donated titles have intact covers and no missing pages. We cannot accept encyclopedias, textbooks, or adult fiction at this time, as our focus remains entirely on young readers building their very first home library.

A quiet place to start reading
From historic red-brick public libraries with tall windows to neighborhood porches across the state, our work is rooted in community spaces where people gather to share stories and learn together.
